| Job Description | Position Description This position will be responsible for overall management key and certificate as part of Data Security team. Candidate will serve as a key and cert analyst dedicated to Data Security program in the Information Protection and Risk Management group, also working closely with the business lines to support and maintain the lifecycle of keys and certificates. There is a constant demand to manage Encryption, Key, and Certificate lifecycle with appropriate data security controls and policies are in place. Responsibilities • Collaborate with engineering team on encryption, key, and certificate management • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other security partners to integrate encryption solutions. • Closely work with Key and Certificate engineering team on tools such as Venafi TPP, CipherTrust Manager and HSM. • Manages SSL/TLS Certificates associated with the Certificate Authority (CA) • Monitor Public (External) and Managed PKI (Private/Internal) CA SSL/TLS Certificates for upcoming expiration dates • Identify and document root cause analysis for major problems or hurdles, as well as process/technology improvements required to avoid future problems • Take action to collaborate with teams to capture the requirements, solve problems, and effectively manage dependencies • Act as the primary interface to application teams, database administration teams, and architecture teams • Learn and support backup duties to support other Data Security technologies • Maintain subject matter expertise in information security • Generate, distribute, and revoke cryptographic keys as needed • Monitor key usage, expiration dates, and rotation schedules • Implement best practices for key storage, protection, and access controls • Administer SSL/TLS certificates, code signing certificates, and other digital certificates • Coordinate certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation • Ensure compliance with certificate policies and standards • Provide regular updates to leadership on encryption program performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement. • Knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow to work on Incidents created within the tool. • Stay informed about industry trends and evolving security practices • Collaborate with compliance teams to address any security gaps • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including system administrators, developers, and security teams • Identify opportunities to automate key and certificate management tasks • Document incident details and lessons learned • Assist in responding to security incidents related to keys and certificates • Understand and support the business drivers and issues surrounding enterprise data protection effort • Work in both project and non-project work efforts, inclusive of key & cert management, data discovery, data management, as well as innovative solution delivery Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex challenges • Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. The Skills You Bring • 7+ Years of experience in Key and Cert management • 7+ Years of experience in Venafi TPP • 7+ Years of experience in Encryption • Experience with Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) • Bachelor’s degree in computer science • Professional certificates • Experience with cryptographic algorithms, PKI, and encryption protocols • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities |
