Role Overview

We are looking for consulting professionals with experience in transformation projects and those who have a consultative mindset to address customer pain points.

Relevant Experience Levels: Manager Consulting – 12 to 18 years, Senior Manager Consulting – 18 to 24 years

Locations: Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida/Gurgaon

Education: Engineering/equivalent (mandatory), MBA (highly preferred)

Mandatory Skillsets and Experience:

  • Successful track record of managing complex digital programs and should have independently handled end to end program management.
  • Led large teams of 30-40 members and managed project delivery.
  • Contributions to Presales/Business Development activities, handling RFP/RFI engagements through Deal Evaluation, Solution defense, POC/Pilot Delivery, storyline creation and end to end Bid Management
  • Hands-on experience in Go-To-Market strategy formulation, business planning and business strategy
  • Understand the industry trends, business imperatives, strategic growth areas and underlying technology trends and play the role of thought leader contributing to design improvements.
  • Collaborate with customers leading enterprises on solution identification, discovery workshops, demos & POC presentation. Also, should have contributed to proactive deal identification.
  • Collaborate with the client and Cognizant Tech & Design teams to ideate new experiences & features, elaborate features into epics and stories, document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Participate in product discovery phase and provide insights & enhancements that would benefit the end customer.
  • Take complete ownership of the product and monitor the product performance through relevant metrices.
  • Exposure in creating business requirement document / functional requirement document.
  • Experience in creating workflows, user stories and driving sprint grooming sessions.
  • Experience working on large deals and business pursuits.
  • Ability to effectively perform both in a team and as an individual
  • Should be proactive and self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks vs time.
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent research and problem-solving skills with a focus attention to detail. Should have played client facing roles in previous projects.
  • Balanced temperament towards work – a blended characteristic of patience and always striving to achieve better value for the client and organization.

Domain Skills

  • Experience in consulting-oriented roles in telecom industry, business/strategy, process or technology areas
  • Good understanding of key telecom business processes such as Order to activate, Lead to Quote, Quote to Order, provisioning, billing etc. (along with eToM business frameworks understanding)
  • Exposure to the BSS / OSS of the communication providers
  • Independently working and coordinating with the key stakeholders involved in the telecom processes.
  • Working knowledge in the telecom products
    • CRM
    • Billing
    • Provisioning
    • Ordering
  • Understanding the telecom networks and concepts of SDN will be an advantage.
  • eTOM certifications and training are desirable.
  • Understand the industry trends, business imperatives, strategic growth areas and underlying technology trends

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure and understanding of key digital battlegrounds such as IoT, Edge, Analytics and Cloud.
  • Experience in using AGILE/ SCRUM principles and techniques
  • PMP / CBAP / CSPO / CSM certifications are desirable.
  • Exposure on Digital tools and platforms in Infra and application space
  • Working knowledge in project management tools like JIRA, Confluence
  • Working knowledge in workflow modelers
