This is an individual contributor role. The role contributes on Learning Need Analyses, develops the training curriculum, creates the project plan, collaborates with SME(s) and business management to gain inputs and develops and monitors metrics for evaluating learning solutions. They take ownership of the course/curriculum/program end to end.

2. Do you have experience making complex concepts easier to understand? Can you provide a structure for the information and help the SME limit the content to only the items needed by the audience?

Expected response: Yes, I could ask the SME to explain how all the content relates to the performance of the learners (nice-to-know vs need-to-know?).

3. Have you collaborated with Subject Matter Experts[SME] to gather information for a project?

Expected response: The candidate should describe how they established rapport with SMEs, asked relevant and probing questions to extract key information and synthesized complex content into understandable training materials.

4. What is your process for conducting a thorough analysis of training needs?

Expected response: The candidate should discuss methods like task analysis, performance gap analysis, and needs assessment surveys to gather data from stakeholders/clients and prioritize training needs based on business/performance goals.

5. How do you ensure that training content is accurate and aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives?

Expected response: Look for responses that include approaches for authenticating information with SMEs, conducting peer reviews, and aligning content with organizational goals and industry best practices.
