Retail /CPG/T&H Domain Consultant:
Looking for consultants with 3-6 years of experience for our Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Hospitality (RCGTH) practice. Experience in engagements with RCGTH clients and understanding of processes in one or more of the given areas is preferred – digital commerce, sales and marketing, new product development, R&D, store operations, warehousing, logistics, order management, pricing, promotions and loyalty. Job responsibilities will include,
- Lead discussions with clients and work in a fast paced environment
- Working in agile delivery programs as a product owner / process specialist
- Process mapping and requirements gathering, including defining user personas and journey
- Liaison with technology / product / data scientist teams, provide and manage functional inputs for the programs
- Provide business inputs to programs around data analytics, data visualizations and reporting
- Helping with selecting technology solutions to improve business processes
- Participate and contribute to business development efforts
- Participate and contribute to practice competency development
Product Owner generic
- Performs as a Product Owner, liaisons between business and technical teams across multiple locations
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and document product features and user stories
- Communicates story detail and priorities and ensures that the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan
- Owns Acceptance criteria of requirements and stories in a product backlog
- Supports in prioritization of product backlog items depending on their business need
- Collaborate with UI/UX Architects, Technical Leads/Project Managers and Business teams for project requirements
- Conduct Demos and presentations to various stakeholders
- Manage Impact analysis and communication, alignment of solution with business needs
- Own the Quality Assurance of product across releases
- Participate in the Iteration Retrospective, where the teams gather to improve their processes
Specific domain experiences needed
Retail Store
1. Possesses 6+ years of IT experience in Retail, Travel or Consumer Goods industry
2. Experience in Retail and Store design and planning
3. Extensive hands-on experience in any software implementation (POS, WFM, Shrinkage), and requirements management
4. Extensive experience in Agile execution and methodologies
5. Worked as proxy product owners to understand and define strategic priorities/ product roadmap
6. Liaise with Business Owner to identify business needs and develop suitable product portfolio.
6. Defining the features of an application/product/solution
5. Experienced as a User story author/Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner
7. Has the ability to break down Epics into User Stories
8. Participate in the sprint retrospective and identify areas of improvement, Demo sprint output to client
8. Should have excellent communications skills
9. Takes ownership for key project timelines and deliverables from offshore
