- Role Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the web and mobile platform
- Work closely with other teams throughout development iterations in an agile environment.
- Write code that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns
- Develop systems that are maintainable and scalable
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Diagnose and identify issues to provide quick solutions
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Desired Skills and Competencies
- A deep familiarity with Python and at-least one python web framework such as Django or Flask
- Have developed one or more websites/products
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.
- Understanding of databases and SQL preferably with MYSQL
- Decent knowledge of HTML CSS and Javascript
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Written and used Rest APIs
- Worked with Django rest framework
- Good problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
- Knowledge of Celery and AsyncIO is good to have Associated Behaviors
- Able to multi-task and work to pre-defined deadlines in a cross-cultural environment
- Proactive, self-starter and hands on
- Ability to foster a co-operative work environment, be a good Team Player
- Establishes positive working relationships at appropriate levels
