Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation to project closure, ensuring
adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and
timelines, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment,
to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction, delegating tasks, and
fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other
stakeholders to maintain transparent project status updates and manage expectations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to
ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry
standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present project status reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs),
to senior management and clients.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to
enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
Manage project change requests and variations, assessing their impact on scope, time,
and budget, and communicating changes to relevant parties.
Ensure timely resolution of project issues and conflicts, fostering positive relationships
with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
(master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a track record
of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and
industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage
teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Auto
Cad, or similar applications.
Solid understanding of budget management, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address project-related
challenges.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
PMP certification or relevant project management certification is a plus.
Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
