Job Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator with DBA Experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator with a strong background in database administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our OCI environment, including the setup, configuration, and management of OCI resources, as well as the administration of our Oracle databases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the OCI environment, including compute instances, storage, and network resources.
- Administer Oracle databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, data security, and database upgrades and patches.
- Implement and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), including users, groups, compartments, and policies.
- Monitor the OCI environment and databases for performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OCI environment and databases.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure optimal performance and availability of applications and services.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
- Document OCI and database configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an OCI Administrator and Oracle DBA.
- Strong knowledge of OCI services and features.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
- Experience with OCI IAM and security best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect or Oracle DBA certifications are a plus.

OCI tenancy, User Access management (Users, Groups, IAM Policies, Managing and Administering IDCS )
• Provision/de-provision and Administration of OCI Resources
• Network Configuration (Subnet, security list, Routing and LB)
• Oracle Integration cloud /API Gateway configuration
• Manage Oracle Autonomous Databases
• Provision /de-provision Linux Compute Instances
• Configure/Manage Storage Services /FTP/SFTP services
• Configure /Monitor Backups and perform recoveries as needed.
• Support Configurations, release and Code Migrations in Production and Non-Production Environments (SIT, UAT)
• Configure/Monitor database backups and perform recoveries as needed.
• Coordination with Oracle for SR management for DBA/OCI related issues
• SSO configuration and maintenance with Third-party Identity provider like Azure AD.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as developers, architects, and operations, to support application development and deployment.
