Detailed Job Description –

• Hands on experience with Illumio network segmentation tool
• Update, modify and Troubleshoot configuration changes of access controls, firewall rules
• Deploying VEN agents as part of a server build process.
• Upgrading VEN agents to new versions
• Troubleshooting VEN agent connectivity and policy application
• Provides technical support for incidents that are escalated from Tier 1, TOC, or other event-generated or automated sources.
• Improves system stability, availability, performance, and reliability by resolving incidents.
• Maintains working knowledge of all hardware/software supported across the enterprise.
• Executes changes in the environment based on requirement as per Client
• Troubleshooting VEN agent connectivity and policy application
• Identifies, plans, and recommends operational changes for approval by Client, and executes approved changes Utilizes existing knowledge and creates documentation for any/all incidents where documentation doesn’t yet exist
• General network troubleshooting – the ability to take network captures to confirm what network traffic is “on the wire”
• Basic Windows, AIX, and Redhat OS knowledge – required to support the installation and basic agent troubleshooting
• Should have participating in incident bridges
• Work independently with application team owners for migration and troubleshooting
