| Key Responsibilities: |
| WAF Implementation & Management: Design, deploy, and configure WAF solutions (such as Akamai, AWS WAF, Azure WAF, GCP or other enterprise WAF platforms) to safeguard web applications. |
| Security Monitoring: Monitor and analyze WAF logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents and vulnerabilities. |
| Rule Creation & Tuning: Develop and fine-tune WAF rules and policies to effectively block malicious traffic while minimizing false positives. |
| Incident Response: Actively participate in the incident response process, including investigating, mitigating, and resolving security incidents related to web applications. |
| Vulnerability Assessment: Collaborate with security and development teams to identify vulnerabilities in web applications and recommend appropriate WAF configurations to address them. |
| Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of WAF configurations, policies, and procedures. Generate regular reports on security incidents and WAF performance. |
| Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, IT, and development teams to integrate WAF solutions into the application development lifecycle and deployment processes. |
| Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest security threats, WAF technologies, and best practices. Continuously improve WAF configurations and strategies to address emerging threats. |
| Offer subject matter expert (SME) support in various security testing areas, including WAF Proofs of Value  (PoV/PoC). |

Expectations:
Assist in the management and administration of the Centrify/Delinea Secret Server. Act as a resource for teams new to the Centrify platform and conduct help sessions and one-on-one assistance as needed. Work as a liaison between the endpoint teams and the Centrify vendor to drive and resolve issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in both Windows and Linux
- 3 years of experience in Password Access Management
- 5 years of experience scripting/developing automations in languages such as Linux Shell, Powershell (preferred), or Python
- Skilled in troubleshooting methodologies
- Must have excellent written and oral communications, including technical documents, and process documents.
Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for customers and management.
- May be required to work off-shift, weekend, and overtime hours.
- Follow requirements from our Centrify SME for projects and outcomes and produce required product for review.
- Monitor team distribution list for customer request, contact customer with clarifying questions.
- Create documentation and diagrams to Chalk page and update documentation.
- Assist in migration efforts from the old platform to the new Secret server platform
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Centrify software preferred – Other PAM software may be substituted considered.
- Strong proficiency in scripting language – linux shell, Powershell and/or Python
- Experience using REST API to pull data is a plus
- Strong communications skills. A large portion of this job is interacting with customers who may have limited knowledge/experience with the tool.
- Strong problem-solving skills and goal driven
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment and networks.
