Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of API services.

Job description:

● Work as part of a self-organised Ab Initio engineering team to deliver creative automated Testing solutions to ensure our platforms function as expected and meet the requirements identified by the business

● Work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management and your management chain

● Define and own the test approach for components & systems in your team, to meet the objectives of Product Management, Risk Mitigation, Quality and Efficiency

● Innovate within your team and initiative area, and contribute within your technical domain.

● Lead other QE members in the team to ensure the correct processes are followed and advise as needed where any deviations are seen ● Support and develop other QEs in meeting best practices What we’re looking for: ● Solid programming skills in your language of choice (not necessarily ours). The primary language of our quality and software engineers in Ab Initio is shell scripting, however an understanding of the testing principles and how automation can aid this is the key

● Working collaboratively, able to communicate effectively and commitment to be part of a successful team

● Working knowledge and experience of Agile practices ● A desire to learn new techniques and processes

● Full understanding of an ETL development process and execution environment so as to be able to design test cases related to that business process Experience that would be advantageous:

● working within a CICD Test automation environment

● Working with data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture

● Using SQL, Python, Rest Assured, Gatling.

• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong Understanding of Pricing Concepts: Knowledge of pricing strategies (value-based, cost-plus, competitive), pricing models, discounting, and revenue management.
  • Operational Acumen: Understanding of end-to-end pricing processes, data flows, and operational challenges.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Instructional Design: Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) is a plus.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to engage learners, manage group dynamics, and create a positive learning environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze training effectiveness data and identify trends.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Auditor role within the SAAS industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality audit principles and methodologies (e.g., call monitoring, transaction monitoring, process audits).
• Proven experience in providing effective and constructive feedback to agents and facilitating performance improvement.
• Strong ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using various techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram) to identify underlying issues.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using quality monitoring tools and software (e.g., contact center quality management systems).

• ServiceNow Platform Expertise: Strong experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro module, ITSM, and ITOM.
