Liaison between vendors and engineering, by communicating the schedule, constraints and engineering details effectively for a smoother coordination. Monitor schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery from vendors.
Closely work with assembly house and engineering to finalize the BOM and schedule.
Work with procurement to finalize on the vendor and follow the process required to generate a final PO.
Be the single point of contact for any vendor queries to minimize interaction time from engineering to improve a productive environment.
Work closely with engineering to identify equipment/ component available commercially and provide all the related details like availability, cost and SLA
Work closely with engineering on the development needs and work closely with relevant stakeholders to projecting the CAPEX/ OPEX needs YoY.
Work on the quick day to day engineering needs which could be un-forecasted gets quick attention and ensure their procurement quickly by sensitizing the need with relevant stakeholders.
Work with validation engineers to support them with their day to day activity like coordination with lab support and rework team.
Work closely with logistics and shipment to ensure timely delivery of engineering team needs.
