• Detailed Job Description –

Should have good knowledge / understanding of all Infra components like Server, Network, Data Centre etc

Establishing contacts/networks for recovery resources and support systems

Implementing practices to further sustainability in strategic planning initiatives

Review/update DR Plans (every year) to ensure new aspects of the business are covered

Develop controls to strengthen the DR processes

Prepare and Publish DR Test Reports

Co-ordinate and monitor the Re-test of applications that fail a DR test

Perform business impact analysis and risk assessment with various teams

Performs risk analysis for corporate functional areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommends disaster avoidance and reduction strategies

Reduce risk associated with Disaster Recovery planning and execution

Identify and remediate plans, issues, address incidents

Assist in designing and implement disaster recovery processes and business continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic

Liaise with Disaster Recovery Coordinators for each of the technical areas such as UNIX, Mainframe, Databases, Networks and Application Support

Liaison and collaborate with the Business Continuity team to develop and update the enterprise Business Continuity Plan

Liaison and collaborate with all Information Technology areas to develop disaster recovery plans and strategies

Liaison and collaborate with 3rd party Business Partners to develop disaster recovery plans and strategies

Provide weekly status reporting to the Management

Ensure that all stakeholders and testers are aware of and perform mandatory testing requirements and documentation as expected from regulators and auditors

Liaison and collaborate with all contracted external IT vendors to coordinate and execute annual disaster recovery exercises
